    The Commonwealth’s Lt. Governor will address the Society of Human Resource Management at its first 2015 meeting

    The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) CNMI Chapter is honored to host the Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands as our special guest speaker at its first General Membership meeting of 2015, this Thursday, January 29.  The Honorable Ralph Deleon Guerrero Torres will address issues related to what the Human Resource community can expect in the upcoming year, relative to jobs, immigration issues, the workforce, workforce training opportunities, the looming manpower shortage with the anticipated casinos and other development, and other employment and human resource related topics.  The Lieutenant Governor will also provide an opportunity for questions from the audience.

    The program will also include the installation ceremony for the 2015 Board of the CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

    This special meeting will be held on January 29, 2015, this Thursday, at Charley’s Cabaret, PIC, from 11:30am to 1:30 pm and will include lunch at a cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.  Seats are limited and can be reserved by contacting Micah Parico-Acuavera by phone at 234-1795 or by e-mail at or by e-mail to Frank Gibson at
