SHRM Membership Meeting Concentrates on Workforce Training Programs
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) CNMI Chapter is pleased to announce its March general membership meeting on the topic of “Workforce Alternatives in the CNMI” which will be presented by a trio of speakers: Jim T. Arenovski, of Island Training Solutions, Josephine Mesta, of the Northern Marianas Trade Institute (NMTI), and Dr. Julie-Ulloa-Heath, of G4S. This lunch meeting will be held at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan’s Charley's Cabaret on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
This presentation is open to the public and will be an invaluable opportunity for employers and employees to learn more about the different locations available in the CNMI to find trained and qualified workers for a wide range of needed positions, from hospitality to skilled trades. Each speaker will discuss their programs for training US workers and how these programs will affect the impending labor shortage in the CNMI. Each will also provide the opportunity for questions about their programs.
