“A LUNCHEON WITH THE COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY GENERAL ”

One of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) CNMI Chapter’s goals is to proactively provide thought leadership, education and research to human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions. In that regard, the CNMI SHRM Chapter is pleased to announce its February general membership meeting, which will include a presentation by JP San Nicolas, Attorney General. This lunch meeting will be held at the Pacific Island Club’s Charley’s Cabaret on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

This presentation is open to the public and will be an invaluable opportunity for employers and employees to learn more about the Commonwealth’s Attorney General and the Office of the Attorney General:  the Commonwealth’s law enforcement agency most likely to have contact with the CNMI’s businesses. 

Attorney General San Nicolas will present on important topics such as: 

·        An overview of the Office of the Attorney General

·        The Consumer Protection Act’s applicability to Commonwealth’s businesses

·        An introduction of the new Consumer Counsel, Assistant Attorney Ghassan Harb

·        Other CNMI issues
