Organizations to Assist our Staff: Topic at August SHRM Meeting
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) NMI Chapter is pleased to announce its August general membership meeting on the topic of “FEMA, Red Cross and the Salvation Army: Organizations to assist our staff in their time of need.” which will be presented by Mr. John Hirsch, Executive Director of the NMI Chapter of the American Red Cross, Mr. Michael Kern, FEMA Liaison, and Pastor Wayne Gillespie, Head of the Saipan Salvation Army. This lunch meeting will be held at the Pacific Islands Club (PIC) Charley’s on Thursday, August 27, 2015, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
This presentation is open to the public and will be an invaluable opportunity for employers and HR professionals and staff to gain information and to discuss ways that our employees can gain assistance from the federal and local agencies that are working to help the Commonwealth's citizens during this time of crisis. Our speakers will focus on available programs and benefits, what employers can do to help employees, and the processes involved.
