Mr. Keith Sonderling, Acting Administrator and Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division.
Mr. Sonderling, the highest ranking official in the agency, will be visiting the region and discussing the agency’s Proposed 541 Salary Rule Change, the Payroll Audit Independent Determination (“PAID”) program, and related topics.
Mr. Vince Camacho, SHRM Guam’s Vice President of Legislative Affairs and Managing Principal of the Camacho Calvo Law Group.
Mr. Camacho will provide updates on employment laws and regulations including the American Worker Initiative, issues before the Supreme Court of the United States, free speech in the workplace, and impact of marijuana legislation in the workplace
